Grow, Cook, Eat – Tea Towel Design Competition
We’re inviting primary school children to take part in our Grow, Cook, Eat design competition. This is a lovely opportunity for children to get creative and celebrate food, colour and imagination.
Competition Details
Theme: Grow, Cook, Eat
Children can draw anything connected to growing, cooking or sharing food.
Deadline for entries: 30th November 2025
Prizes:
We will choose one winner from KS1 and one from KS2.
Each winner will receive:
• A growing kit
• A certificate
• A tea towel printed with their own artwork
How to Enter:
• Children create their design on A4 paper at home
• Use bold colours (felt tips work best)
• Take a clear photo of the finished artwork
• Upload the photo to our Facebook Messenger
• Please include the child’s name and year group
Winners will be announced on our Facebook page after the deadline.

• Herbs growing on a windowsill
• Someone stirring a mixing bowl
• A basket of colourful fruit and vegetables
• Watering a plant in the garden
• A picnic blanket with favourite snacks
• Chickens in a garden and a basket of eggs

• A small allotment or garden with labelled veg beds
• A favourite family recipe shown step-by-step

Tips for a great final design
• Felt tips and bold colours work best
