In celebration of a decade-long journey championing nutrition and culinary education for our children, Caring Cooks is thrilled to embark on a special initiative for our 10th birthday. This children's cookbook isn't just a collection of delightful recipes; it's a symbol of our commitment, passion, and the shared memories we've cultivated within the Jersey community. Over the years, we've witnessed the transformative power of cooking in fostering creativity, instilling confidence, and promoting healthier lifestyles among children. As we mark this milestone, our cookbook aims to encapsulate the essence of our mission, honour the young chefs of Jersey, and inspire the next generation to continue the legacy of cooking with heart and purpose.
Your Recipe, Your Legacy
This is more than just a book; it's a movement! Every recipe carries a story, a tradition, or a novel idea. And now, we're giving our young chefs a platform to shine. Share your favourite recipe with us and get a chance to be featured!
How to Submit:
All you need to do is email your creation to: yvonne@caringcooksofjersey.com and your recipe will be reviewed and tested by the Caring Cooks team. You will then be notified if your creation has made it to the cookbook!
Please include the following:
1. Recipe Title: Clearly mention the name of your dish.
2. Ingredients: List down all the ingredients along with their quantities.
3. Instructions: A step-by-step guide on how to prepare the dish.
4. Preparation & Cooking Time: Approximate time for both.
5. Serving Size: Number of people it can serve.
6. Personal Touch: Share a short story or inspiration behind the recipe. (Optional)

Please also include your full name, age and school. We will then send you the necessary consent form should your recipe be chosen. Good luck!
Not only will your recipe will be published, your name , age, school will be published. You will be famous and receive a copy of the book for free!

his cookbook, illustrated by a talented local artist and accredited Genuine Jersey member, is a blend of tradition and innovation. From classic Jersey dishes to creative new concoctions, our junior chefs are ready to surprise and delight you!
Susan Lintell is an artist, illustrator and cartoonist, and a graphic and website designer. These are the things she does best.
Susan creates art in different media, from commissioned art, landscapes, portraits, surrealistic paintings and graphic design to cartoons and illustrations, and always exploring more ways to create.
